About Marc Morrison

Marc Morrison is the founder of Animal Land Pet Movers, a white-glove pet relocation company he launched in Atlanta in 1998. Before entering the pet transport industry, Marc practiced law for over a decade — earning his J.D. from Emory Law School — before recognizing a gap in the market. “Atlanta is home to the busiest airport in the world, and at the time no one was doing pet relocation,” Marc has said. “I saw a need, and as it was around the birth of the internet, I was able to leverage Search Engine Optimization to launch into a real business.”

Today, Animal Land is one of the premier pet relocation services in the country, trusted by Fortune 100 companies including Coca-Cola, Home Depot, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, and Google. The company handles both domestic and international moves, with a specialty in complex, hard-to-reach destinations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Africa, and the Americas.

Every relocation is managed end-to-end — from airline coordination and veterinary documentation to customs clearance and country-specific import requirements. Animal Land has transported pets from Ethiopia, Hawaii, and Mauritius along complicated multi-leg routes. Notable moves have included relocating four Pomeranians from Mauritius to the Bahamas across four countries over five days, and transporting a tortoise from New York to England for a cast member of Harry Potter. While dogs and cats make up most of the client roster, Animal Land has also moved snakes, exotic birds, and even a tiger.

Marc is an active member of IPATA (the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association) and has been a featured speaker at several of the organization’s annual conventions, sharing expertise on best practices in international pet transport.

His mission has never changed: to help families safely and successfully reunite with their pets, wherever life takes them.
