Plants Which May Be Dangerous to Your Pets

 In Blog

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) provides a list of common plants that may be dangerous for your pet if he ingests them. Poisoning symptoms may include irritation of the mouth, gastrointestinal problems and bleeding. Severe poisoning may be fatal.

Take great care where you place them if they are potted and, if they grow in your garden, be sure your pet doesn’t snoop around them too much.

If you have questions or suspect pet poisoning, call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435.
